Enrow + Clay

Find and verify work emails and mobile numbers in your Clay tables: on Clay credits with the native provider, or on Enrow credits with your own API key.

Overview

Enrow is a native data provider in Clay. Three actions run as columns in your tables: find a work email from a full name and a company, verify a work email, and find a mobile phone number from a profile URL. Every email Enrow finds is verified before it lands in the cell, catch-all addresses included.

You choose how you pay. With the native provider, lookups are billed in Clay credits and there is nothing to set up. With your own Enrow account, they use your Enrow credits, the same balance as the rest of your Enrow usage: connect it to the two find actions, or call any Enrow endpoint from an HTTP API column.

Either way, an empty lookup costs nothing: Clay doesn't bill an enrichment that returns no result, and Enrow doesn't bill a search that finds nothing.

What you can do

  • Find work emails

    Automatic0.2 Clay credits if found

    The Find Work Email with Enrow column takes a full name and a company domain or name, and returns a verified work email.

  • Verify work emails

    AutomaticFree in Clay

    Check an email already in your table before you send, catch-all addresses included.

  • Find mobile phone numbers

    Automatic20 Clay credits if found

    From a person's professional profile URL, Enrow finds their mobile number.

  • Pay in Enrow credits instead

    AutomaticEnrow credits

    Clay lists both find actions as "Bring your own account": run them on your Enrow account and pay 1 Enrow credit per email found, 40 per phone found. Clay then uses no data credits, only its Actions.

  • Call any Enrow endpoint

    AutomaticEnrow credits

    From an HTTP API column, call the Enrow API with your key and get the result back by webhook or with a GET. Needs Clay's Growth plan or above.

  • Enrich only the rows that need it

    Automatic

    Add an "Only run if" condition so the column runs on rows without an email, or after another provider came back empty.

How to set it up

  1. 01

    Add Enrow to your table

    In a Clay table, add an enrichment and search for Enrow. Pick Find Work Email, Verify Work Email or Find mobile phone number.

  2. 02

    Choose how you pay

    Keep Clay credits, or run the find actions on your own Enrow account. For an HTTP API column, send your key in the x-api-key header, as in the request below.

  3. 03

    Map your columns and run

    Map the inputs: full name and company for an email, the email to check, the profile URL for a phone. Run a few rows first, then the whole table.

POST https://api.enrow.io/email/find/single
x-api-key: YOUR_ENROW_API_KEY
Content-Type: application/json

{
  "company_domain": /company_domain,
  "fullname": "/first_name /last_name",
  "settings": { "webhook": "YOUR_CLAY_WEBHOOK_URL" }
}

Good to know

  • →In Clay, /column_name inserts the value of a column into the request.
  • →The Enrow API is asynchronous: a request returns a search id, not the email. Pass a Clay webhook URL in settings.webhook, or add a short delay and read the result with GET /email/find/single?id=….
  • →With your own Enrow account, Clay uses no data credits but still counts one Action per run.
  • →Clay's Free plan doesn't include phone enrichment: phone numbers start on Launch.
  • →Phone search works from the person's profile URL, so keep that column filled.
  • →With your own key, a verification costs 0.25 Enrow credit per check. With Clay credits, it's free.
